St.Anne

 

Hello, my name is St.Anne. No one knows when I was born or the place of my birth. I probably  lived in Nazareth. I am the mother of  Mary, the mother of God. That makes me the grandmother of Jesus. During my early life, I married into a wealthy family.  My husband and I were banished from the temple and our sacrifice was rejected because we were childless. I followed Jesus by praying and later giving birth to Mary, mother of God. There are several miracles attributed to me. One of them was that I had a baby when I was too old to have a baby. It is unknown when or how I died. I am one of the first saints, and my feast day is July 26. I am the patron saint of grandmothers,puerto rico, and this school.
