Why Dogs are better than Cats?

     Many people think that cats are better than dogs, but it may actually be argued that dogs are better than cats.  Dogs are very protective, make you more healthy, and dogs are good for companionship. I believe that dogs are better than cats.

     Firstly, dogs are better than cats because they are protective. Did you know that dogs can sniff out bombs?  If  somebody breaks into your house a dog can wake you up. If a poison gas came into your house a dog can alert you to wake up.

     Secondly, a dog can make you more healthy. Did you know dogs can prevent sickness, and dogs protect children from skin conditions and allergies?  Dogs also help you meet your fitness goals. Because dog are very energetic, and they will run with you if dogs don’t get exercise they might get sick easier   

     Lastly, dogs are good for companionship. Did you know scientists have proof that dogs make us laugh more than cats?  Dogs know how you're feeling. also, dogs will greet you when you get home.

In conclusion, dogs are way better than cats because dogs are protective, dogs can make you more healthy, and dogs are good for companionship. If you do not have a dog, you might get sick more easily.  Also if you do not have a dog you can get depressed more easily, and you would be not be as safe. You should get a dog, not a cat.
